Who we are

Black Hound Bakehouse is a home bakery created by me, Marisa Klomp. I am a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. The CIA helped build the chef I am today by teaching me attention to detail and the importance of an excellent guest experience. After 15 years in the industry, working all across the country, It was finally time to work for myself. Thus, Black Hound Bakehouse was born.

At Black Hound Bakehouse we pride ourselves on using the best ingredients and locally sourced whenever possible. From custom cakes to breads, I can do it all. You can place a weekly pick up order on our website or send me an inquiry to create a one of a kind experience for your wedding or other special day.
